Slurpee Run 2011.....Okay. It's official.....no more Slurpees until the Slurpee run 2012.  AND why is Utah so hot?.....just thought I'd ask. XC was fun today! Not as bad as I thought it would be....and Hey! No one threw up. Successful day. -sar-

had to run on my own today. ran 6 miles around the neighborhood, and finished it off with my core situps, pushups, etc. felt so good.....despite the hot weather.

due to complicated scheduling....i was only able to run for a little bit with the team today. but after i finished everything i needed to, i went back and finished the workout on my own. we ran from sunnyside park over to a fountain kinda by the highway. good run, felt okay. not sore at all.

this is my swimming record.......not running. did sprint sets and worked on speed today.

we did long sets of swimming today. lots of form, not so much speed today. hard, but so fun.

ran 3 miles today at Liberty Park. we also did 6 strides and i felt good with those. the last one i went a lot slower, next time i'll make sure to finish hard. felt super good. achieved my goal of trying hard, the entire practice and not just at the beginning. excited and ready for the 10k on monday!!! woot woot!

First 10K today!! Not gonna lie, wasn't sure how well I was gonna do, but hey, for my first race I didn't do too horrible. I also didn't do as well as I would have dreamed to, but it's for sure a goal to work towards. I did my best, and that's all I could ask for! Did well at the beginning, towards the middle I had to slow it down a bit. Wish I could have kept up my pace the whole race, but hey. There's always next time. I'm gonna be honest, I looked at my time, but I really don't remember what it was. Yeahh...I know that's really bad. But, I'll check the results online and enter my time. Good day today. Feelin' good.

today was puke hill. it actually wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. it got really got, but it was a fun run after you got past the hills at the beginning. felt good today.

finished off hill week today. a little bit sore from yesterday. didn't do as well as planned, but i did it. good warm up, slowly got worse through the day. i'll step it up on monday, for sure.

ran 6 miles today. we ran the state course, did the hill 8 times, and did 2 sets of circuits. had to leave practice a little early. today felt hard, need to keep pushin. ready to prepare for saturday, this week!

ran the provo invitational today. PR by 4 minutes. good day. ran a few extra for warm up and cool down.
